Pizza is phenomenal. Best in the area. Pasta dishes and Italian beef sandwiches are also top notch. You know a place is great when it's been the same owner for more than 10 years and you see him hard at work making the food every time you visit.

I had to make sure that the first chicken sausage and wild mushroom pizza I ordered wasn't a fluke. Nope, the second one confirmed it. I really think this pizza is the best I have ever had. If you are reading this in December you need to move fast. This amazing combination of flavors is this month's special and won't be around next month. Thank you everyone at Saporito's for coming up with this delicious pizza. I'll be back for a third before the month is up.

This is a wonderful pizza restaurant! One of our favorites, we have dined in and ordered takeout. The business has a hard-working happy atmosphere, and the food is delicious. If you call an order in, the food is on time. They are probably one of the most visited restaurants in the area. Great job!

Pizza and menu items are excellent, you walk into the fairly small, but comfortable restaurant and are immediately met with the smells of a true pizzeria, it reminds me of the small family owned pizzeria in Mount Horeb when I was grade school age, handmade and always epic, I give a deserved 5 star on my food chub power rankings!!

We were working in the area and decided to have pizza. Immediately, Saporito's came up on the Google search with 4.7 out of 5 star rating. The description on the Saporito's website reads "Homemade" which caught out attention. We drove 25 minutes to try it. Looks are deceiving! It's a small restaurant next to the Amtrack. We decided to try one of their specials. 16" Pizza, wings and a 2 ltr of Pop. We also added two salads. The salad was first. The salad included lettuce, tomato, a boiled egg and a small cup of dressing. This was really nothing more then lettuce. We chose French dressing. The taste was not to our liking. Tasted like Kraft french dressing. ( Not home made!) The lettuce was not fresh and was turning brown. Rating D The special we chose included either boned or boneless wings. We choose the first. The wings were definitely not fresh. They tasted like frozen Tyson wings. Two of the wings were nothing but breaded bone. No meat! We asked for buffalo hot sauce and barbecue sauce. The Buffalo hot sauce was bland. Nothing like the Buffalo at other restaurants. The other sauce was Sweet Baby Ray's. The wings were not to our liking and we didn't finish them. Rating D The main course: half cheese/sausage pizza. At first glance, it's looked amazing! Unfortunately, it had almost no sauce and the cracker crust was soggy. The cheese was extremely greasy. We love Pizza! We ate a third of our pizza and disposed of the rest. Rating D. When we checked out, the hostess asked if we'd return. We studdered to answer. I will definitely not return. Overall Rating: D

Try the Italian beef! Everything is homemade including the cheesecake. The crab Rangoon pizza is awesome!

Saporito's is a cute, old-fashioned type of restaurant. It is very casual. The waitress was very nice & attentive. We had the Calzones. They were excellent!

I like that they have a new special pizza every month. Most of the special pizzas are fun, interesting, and delicious. The staff is always friendly. It is the best pizza in Lena.
